Our firm is partnering with a Confidential Client to transform an existing home into a dynamic, community-rooted learning campus that supports long-term academic and personal growth for underserved youth. Through adaptive reuse, we are preserving the warmth and familiarity of the original structure while infusing it with purpose-driven spaces such as a STE(A)M studio, academic tutorial lab, and college and career readiness suite. The design incorporates flexible interiors, upgraded infrastructure, and ADA accessibility to foster an inclusive, supportive environment. Communal areas like a gathering kitchen and quiet reflection zones provide spaces for enrichment, mentorship, and family engagement. By aligning with the client’s holistic, longitudinal approach to youth development, the campus will serve as both a safe haven and a springboard—empowering students from elementary school through post-secondary success. This project not only revitalizes a physical space but also reaffirms the client’s mission to uplift the community through educational access, equity, and resilience.
