Transforming a Neighborhood House into a Lifelong Learning Campus

Confidential Client

Project details

Our firm is partnering with a Confidential Client to design a new, community-rooted learning facility that supports long-term academic and personal growth for underserved youth. Located within a residential neighborhood, the new building will replace an existing structure and introduce purpose-driven spaces such as a STE(A)M studio, academic tutorial lab, and college and career readiness suite. The design incorporates flexible interiors, upgraded infrastructure, and ADA accessibility to foster an inclusive, supportive environment. Communal areas like a gathering kitchen and quiet reflection zones provide spaces for enrichment, mentorship, and family engagement. By aligning with the client’s holistic, longitudinal approach to youth development, the facility will serve as both a safe haven and a springboard, empowering students from elementary school through post-secondary success. This project not only establishes a new physical space but also reaffirms the client’s mission to uplift the community through educational access, equity, and resilience.
