Project details
Hendrick led workplace strategy, change management, interior design, and environmental graphic design services for Synovus Place, a new ground-up workplace in downtown Columbus. The project consolidates multiple locations into a single building designed to reflect Synovus’ culture, support collaboration, and adapt to future growth.
Through a human-centric and collaborative process, the team developed a flexible workplace organized into interconnected neighborhoods that encourage transparency, connection, and movement across teams. A comprehensive change management strategy supported employees through the transition, addressing both logistical and experiential needs.
The design prioritizes well-being through natural light, biophilic elements, outdoor terraces, ergonomic furnishings, and spaces for focus, restoration, and social interaction. Integrated brand storytelling connects the workplace to Synovus’ community roots while reinforcing its values and vision for the future.
