Novelis

Project details

Novelis, a global leader in low-carbon, sustainable aluminum solutions, committed to advancing their industry and society toward a circular economy. Their "Focus 5" principles—Safety, Customer Centricity, Quality, Operational Excellence, and Return on Capital Employed—were grounded in their mission of "Shaping a Sustainable World Together." Novelis believed that its people were their greatest asset, fostering a collaborative and transparent culture that allowed them to safely deliver high-quality products to customers worldwide.

Hendrick partnered with Novelis to design a future-focused workplace that supported collaboration, creativity, and connection. With flexible, free-address neighborhoods and seamless technology, the space encouraged both focused work and collaborative engagement, whether in-office or remote. Centrally located hubs and interconnecting staircases on each floor promoted interaction and activity, reinforcing community and culture. Sustainability was at the core of the design, which pursued LEED Gold certification and featured extensive use of aluminum, ergonomic workspaces, and a recycling system on each floor, aligning with Novelis' mission to reduce their carbon footprint and promote wellness and inclusivity.
