Project details

Thomas Horstemeyer, LLP's new office reflects the evolution of legal service firms toward a more progressive aesthetic, emphasizing functional spaces and people-focused design. The office features innovative areas, such as an open employee break area and a gaming room, that break away from traditional law office layouts.

The firm's goal of creating an innovative office to aid in the retention and recruitment of top talent was successfully achieved through insights gathered during extensive workplace strategy and programming exercises. Change Management Services were crucial in securing staff buy-in and educating a diverse demographic on the benefits of the new design standards. The new office has been widely accepted by all staff members and has contributed to the firm's continued and steady growth.

Kind words from the client

Hendrick’s future-forward design vision provided us with the space to address the post-pandemic reality, which addresses a smaller number of individuals in the same footprint. Given the amount of flexible space we have, we were able to adapt to the CDC guidelines very quickly. We were able to convert our spacious common area to allow for proper social distancing for in-house client meetings. We are also able to ‘hotel’ or share offices in an alternating fashion, allowing the reduced number of offices used during the day to be cleaned nightly.
