In redesigning the on-site dining space for Southern Company, a leader in clean energy, the firm embraced a human-centered approach, shifting from corporate branding to celebrate Georgia's local agriculture. This brought a fresh, vibrant atmosphere to Downtown Atlanta, blending natural greenery with clean, bright aesthetics. Carefully selected finishes and impactful wall art enhanced the space, creating a unique social hub. The renovation transformed the underutilized café into a multifunctional area for dining, meetings, and socializing, with flexible seating for various group sizes. The café’s inviting design has been praised for revitalizing the workplace, supporting employee retention and recruitment, and inspiring the renovation of additional amenities on-site.
