FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Atlanta, GA. – February 1, 2023 – Hendrick, an Atlanta-based architecture and design firm, announced that Giselle Newman will join the company as Senior Director. Newman’s addition to the Hendrick team expands the firm's expertise in the healthcare industry and Hendrick's presence in the Nashville metropolitan area, where Newman will be based.

Giselle comes to Hendrick with decades of experience in design, focused primarily within the healthcare market segment. Her healthcare design experience began at the University of North Carolina Hospital as part of their in-house design team and most recently the head of her own firm. She brings this deep expertise to Hendrick to help clients in the healthcare markets while utilizing Hendrick’s existing capabilities.

"I was looking for a place where I could express ideas in a welcoming and open environment," said Newman. "Hendrick has always been known for innovative design and strong client relationships. With my deep roots in the Nashville market and passion for design and client service, it just seemed like a natural fit."

Hendrick's expansion into the Nashville market aligns with its recent growth mission. Having added full architectural services over the last couple years, this deepening of their work in healthcare and geographical expansion mark important steps in the firm’s growth. Newman will serve as the Senior Director for projects at Hendrick's Nashville office.

"Our design approach is rooted in innovative thinking that starts with our client's goals and aspirations—and then with our vision, resources, and expertise, we’re able to achieve those goals,” said Jennifer Treter, Managing Principal at Hendrick. “Giselle’s addition to the team allows us to successfully fulfill this approach even more effectively.”
