Hendrick Designs New Offices for Harry Norman Realtors in Buckhead

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

ATLANTA — Harry Norman Realtors, Atlanta’s premier luxury real estate brokerage operating throughout the metropolitan area and into broader Georgia, recently moved its offices after eighteen years in the same location. The 93-year legacy brand has leased nearly 20,000 square feet of office space in two notable Atlanta commercial developments in Buckhead; both sites were designed by the renowned Atlanta-based design firm Hendrick, Inc., which has previously designed offices for Harry Norman.

As companies continue to find solutions in the current return-to-office era, some closing physical locations and others returning to offices full-time, Harry Norman leaned on the Hendrick team’s expertise in workplace design and current office design drivers to create spaces that encouraged employees to come back to the office—spaces that encourage innovation, collaboration, and productivity, and give employees choice in how they physically work. More than 200 associates work across both locations, facilitating the sharing of ideas and fostering relationships to continue carrying out the tailored client experience the firm is known for.

“It is important that our offices appropriately reflect our high standards and excellent performance, yet also convey a vibe that is welcoming and relaxing,” explained Jenni Bonura, President and CEO, Harry Norman. “It is a tall order for any design firm to achieve this balance and Hendrick exceeded our expectations. Not only did they absolutely deliver on the vision, but they executed the details quite seamlessly too and the team was responsive throughout the process.”

The company’s corporate office, Partner Services, relocated earlier this year with 10,189 square feet of contemporary, multifunctional office space. “Partner Services was especially notable because we had a very tight timeframe in which to complete a total renovation and redesign of that space, which is essentially our corporate office,” Bonura said. “As we navigated the importance of a collaborative and connected work culture while also supporting a myriad of working options, having a design team that could partner with us to be forward-thinking was paramount. We worked together to lay out a plan that makes efficient use of the space available.”

Partner Services is a diverse space as it provides areas to meet the needs of different styles of work. “There are private offices, open work areas, and collaborative spaces where people can work in teams, as well as focus rooms that provide a place to enjoy heads-down time,” said Jorge Mateo, Hendrick Principal. “We created pods, specific to this project and their unique staffing needs, maximizing the number of places where agents can sit down for a couple of hours at a time.” With a cozier feel and a variety of areas in which to work, the new offices incentivize the staff to come back to a workplace made just for them.

The Buckhead Brokerage office opened in August, occupying 9,183 square feet in a new building in the coveted Garden Hills neighborhood of Atlanta. “Because the whole building was new construction, there were nuances that can’t always be accounted for because they don’t always materialize until the construction is underway,” Bonura noted. “But the Hendrick team was always willing to creatively solve any challenges and delivered a sophisticated and elegant space that has yielded incredible praise from our people. Every detail was thoughtful and strategic: from the slant in the drywall in the main walkway meant to mirror other architectural elements to the way the living room space doubles as a collaborative work area, quiet focus space, or overflow for large meetings.”

The new Harry Norman locations are a testament to the successful, ongoing relationship between the real estate powerhouse and Hendrick, Inc. To learn more about Hendrick, please visit hendrickinc.com.
