Embark is the Best of the Best
We are thrilled to announce that Hendrick's innovative Embark project has been awarded the prestigious title of "2023 Best of Healthcare" by the International Interior Design Association (IIDA) Georgia Chapter.
Located in the heart of Atlanta's Buckhead neighborhood, Embark serves as a haven for young individuals battling depression, anxiety, trauma, and co-occurring substance use disorders. The expertly designed space embodies a sanctuary for mental, physical, and emotional well-being, offering a safe and comforting environment for those in need.
Upon entering the facility, visitors are greeted by a multi-functional reception, gaming, and café-style area, creating a seamless, open space. The design features a blend of exposed architectural structures, black metal finishes, rustic woods, velvet textiles, plush carpets, and rich leathers, accentuated by warm brass details and fixtures. This intentional mix of elements achieves a modern loft experience and fosters a home-like atmosphere, essential for improving therapy outcomes.
Large windows invite natural light into the social and therapy rooms, connecting clients to the outdoors and emphasizing the importance of comfort and beauty in the healing process. Hendrick's dedicated team, in collaboration with design partner Jennifer Tibbitts, tailored architectural elements, furniture solutions, and regional influences to create an exceptional space for staff, patients, and family support.
