We are an environmentally focused design firm. Stewardship is part of our day-to-day decision making. We not only evaluate inventive ways to reduce the ecological impact on the built environment, but we also consider the benefit of a healthier environment for our clients and our employees. Internally, we have facilitated a culture attentive to stewardship, through practicing sustainable approaches in our own environment and our actions.

Equity and Social Responsibility Matters to Hendrick

Hendrick is a member of the Georgia Minority Supplier Diversity Council (GMSDC), and a regional member of the National Minority Supplier Diversity Council (NMSDC). Achieving MBE status was an important milestone for us. Our approach to design is to identify what is universal to an organization and then dig deeper to understand what is particular to make the organization and its people unique. To us, designing spaces that promote equity and inclusion is about creating solutions that promote environmental stewardship; social responsibility to its people and the community; and promote governance of an organization that is responsible; supporting the organization’s sustainability. In addition, over our four-decade history, community involvement has been crucial to our identity and encouraged in our organization.
